Too Cool For School

Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 8 p.m.

Mobtown Modern doesn't want to go back to school so we're opening our 2008-2009 season with a defiant program that flips the academy the bird. More "Smokin' in the Boys Room" than "The Alphabet Song," these composers—a renegade Harvard grad and a Dutch hipster are just two of them—are clearly more interested in rocking the crowd than doing their homework. This music is definitely not the teacher's pet.

Tickets are $10, general admission and $5 for Contemporary Museum members and students with a valid ID.
