Corporel means "of the body," which is fitting for this piece because the "percussionist" doesn't play any percussion instruments, but rather plays himself. The score directs the performer to, among other things, "strike the 'bony' parts of the body (skull, collarbone, etc.) with the fingertip," "clack teeth," and to "strike the pit of the stomach."
